BOOM CLASS

THE experience

This 12-round, 45-minute fight is evenly divided between boxing and strength training. Half of the class is spent working the skills and drills of boxing, and the other half is spent working the booty, legs, core, and arms through strength training. a whole body workout and a whole body vibe.

THE VIBE

loud music, loud people. loud energy. With a mega-watt sound system and custom playlists available only at dope, the room collectively thumps to Drake, Cardi B., and Biggie. And while the music will help you smash, the vibes in the room are decidedly inclusive and positive. When we say, “12 rounds, 2 fists, ZERO experience necessary,” we truly mean it. It’s not uncommon to see first time boxers next to professional or amateur fighters. No matter your fitness level, we squad up and throw hands together.

THE motto

we never said it was going to be easy, we said it’s definitely going to be worth it. lose yourself in the music and get everything out on that bag. take your stress, your anxiety, your anger, and throw it onto that bag. leave it all behind you when you walk out that door. the killer workout that you get is literally the smallest benefit that this incredible experience will provide for you.

POW CLASS

the experience

this 45 minute fight is decidedly focused more exclusively on boxing, by incorporating one-on-one mittwork in a small group setting. there’s nothing like the crack of the glove on the mitt, and nothing like the sheer intoxicating exhaustion of finishing out a round throwing hands in the ring with the best of em.

the vibe

unlike the boom class, the pow is a much smaller setting with a maximum of nine people to one coach. we’re still gonna be bumpin’ that music, but the class will be held in the ring and you’ll be interacting with your coach a lot. no experience is required, though. we’ll teach you everything you need to know and all the form to keep you safe and powerful.

THE motto

pow classes are going to help you level up your skill and also level up your fun. there’s camaraderie when you survive an hour of punching mitts with the others in your group, and you’re all going to leave stronger, happier, and ready to take on whatever else is gonna come your way.
